The Association was established
in 1997. FNA covers the area
between Oklahoma Ave and
Arthur Street from 60th to 71st.
The area houses approximately
1300 homes.   The mission of
FNA is to develop a strong
close-knit community where
neighbor knows neighbor and
everyone is working to keep our
community free of crime, clean
and an enjoyable place to live.
The Fairview Neighborhood

invite all of the residents in the
area to become active

Block Watch Captains

Block Watch Captain Supervisor

In this role the Watch Captain Supervisor will over see all Block
Captains to insure they are well informed of new and all information
pertaining to safety and trouble arising within the Neighborhood
Association. Responsibilities may also include training new volunteers,
recruiting efforts of new Block Captains where need be and supervision
of trouble areas if applicable. Communication efforts with police or other
training agencies assisting the Neighborhood Association reach its
ultimate goal of prompt response to any emergency arising. Lead safety
awareness efforts within the community.

Volunteers to help out

We are calling the FNA Members for volunteers. Volunteers will be
responsible for distribution of flyers and or news letters within their
block (Newsletters are a new idea for our association). These
newsletters will be generated and distributed 4 times per year,
during the months of January, April, July and October. Other duties
may include helping neighbors shovel snow, rake leaves, assist
where need be.
Newsletter Editor

The Newsletter Editor will be in charge of generating and auditing the
quarterly newsletter. Responsibilities will also include gathering and
reviewing materials  for upcoming newsletter topics to be
implemented in newsletter. May work with  Block Watch Captain
Supervisor, distributors of flyers and or newsletters .  Insure
newsletters will be generated and distributed 4 times per year, during
the months of January, April, July and October.
